Indian Forest Service Examination, (IFS) - 2009 UPSC

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)
A competitive examination for recruitment to the Indian Forest Service will be held by the Union Public Service Commission commencing on the 11th July, 2009 in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Environment and Forests in the Gazette of India dated the 14th February, 2009.

Date of exam: July, 11, 2009
Date of Submission: 16th March, 2009.


Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

FEES: Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of Fees. (OBC candidates are required to pay full fees).
